§ 01Who we are

This privacy notice is issued by Atlas Global Prime (PTY) Ltd (trading as "Atlas Liquidity"), a company incorporated in South Africa with its registered office at 80 Strand Street, Cape Town 8001.

We are the data controller for the personal information described in this notice. You can reach our Data Protection contact at enterprise@atlasliquidity.com.

§ 02Information we collect

We collect only information necessary to provide our services and respond to enquiries. This typically includes:

  • Identity and contact data — name, job title, business email, telephone number, company name
  • Enquiry data — the content of the request you submit (e.g. nature of business, intended platform, asset classes of interest)
  • Technical data — IP address, country, user agent, and timestamps, collected automatically when you access the site
  • Correspondence — records of email or other communications with our desk

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data, nor any information from individuals under the age of 18.

§ 03How we use information

Your personal information is used to:

  • Respond to your enquiry and provide the requested information
  • Assess suitability for onboarding as an institutional counterparty
  • Operate and secure our website and communication channels
  • Comply with regulatory, tax and anti-money-laundering obligations
  • Where lawful, provide occasional service updates relevant to institutional counterparties

We do not sell your information, nor use it for unrelated marketing, profiling, or automated decision-making with legal effect.

§ 04Legal basis

Depending on the context, we rely on one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to business enquiries, maintaining commercial relationships and operating our site
  • Performance of a contract — where you have entered into a counterparty relationship with us
  • Legal obligation — to comply with applicable regulatory, financial-crime and tax-reporting requirements
  • Consent — where required, for example when subscribing to any optional updates

Where our activities fall within the scope of the EU / UK GDPR or South Africa's POPIA, we apply the respective framework.

§ 05Sharing with third parties

We share personal information only as necessary and under appropriate contractual safeguards. Typical recipients include:

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting, DNS, and edge security (provider of this site's infrastructure)
  • MailChannels Inc. — transactional email relay for our contact forms
  • TradingView, Inc. — embedded market-data widgets on the Live Quotes page
  • Regulatory and tax authorities — where required by law
  • Professional advisers — lawyers, auditors and compliance consultants under duties of confidentiality

We do not share your information with advertising networks or data brokers.

§ 06International transfers

Because our service providers operate globally, your personal information may be transferred to countries outside South Africa or the EU / UK. Where this is the case, we rely on appropriate safeguards — typically Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, or equivalent mechanisms under POPIA — to ensure your information continues to be protected.

§ 07Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, and thereafter for the period required by law (typically five years for financial-services records under South African regulations). Enquiry data that does not result in a counterparty relationship is retained for no longer than 24 months.

§ 08Your rights

Subject to the applicable framework, you may have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
  • Request erasure of your information, where grounds exist
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request portability of information you provided to us
  • Withdraw consent, where consent was the basis of processing

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at enterprise@atlasliquidity.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa (inforegulator.org.za) or with the supervisory authority in your own jurisdiction.

§ 09Cookies

This site uses only the minimum cookies necessary for basic functionality. We do not set advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies that build a behavioural profile.

The one notable third-party request is to Google Fonts (for typography) and to TradingView (on the Live Quotes page), which may set functional cookies of their own governed by their respective privacy notices.

§ 10Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information — including TLS encryption in transit, access controls on our systems, and separation of duties between the dealing desk and administrative staff. No internet-based service is entirely secure; we do not recommend transmitting sensitive financial information such as account numbers or identity documents over unencrypted channels.

§ 11Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy notice from time to time — for example to reflect changes in our service offering, technology providers or applicable law. The version date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised.

Material changes will be announced through the site or by direct communication where we have an ongoing relationship.

§ 12Contact

Questions about this notice, or requests relating to your personal information, should be sent to enterprise@atlasliquidity.com or addressed to the Data Protection contact at the registered office above.
